Happy 1st Birthday Nadrah!

Last Friday was Nur Amni Nadrah bt Suheimy birthday - 2nd April 2010.

I did not managed to update this blog on her besday, sorry for the delay Nadrah! huhu.. mama sibuk sikit la sayang.

Anyway, entry nie byk gambar nadrah je from fresh from my oven to 1 year old gal! :)

Nadrah baru lahir and 2 hari lepas lahir

1 months - before and after cukur

2mths

3 months- sgt chubby

4 mths

5 mths - rambut still belum naik

outdoor potrait @ 6 mths

8 mths - dah start merangkak... until now! still belum jln lagi

9 mths

11 mths - dah ada preference to stuffed toys

1 year!!!

alhamdulillah, dah setahun Amni Nadrah bersama kami kat dunia ni. Hopefully she will grow up to be anak solehah and muslimah sejati  and perhaps becomes a cardiac surgeon or a paediatrician...ahaha..:)

I've been reading this blog and it makes me feel terlalu amat bersyukur on all the nikmat that Allah gave us.

Ye la,

sesak2 kami di hujung bulan takde la sampai takde makanan nak makan.

Jauh2 rumah kami nak travel everyday, still ada rumah to come home to.

Panas2 kami kat rumah (sempena musim panas ni) still ada atap nak meneduh kami dari terik matahari.

Sakit2 pening kami, boleh pg amik ubat free kat klinik (thanks TM!)

etc etc

Well, sometimes we forget to be thankful on the things we took for granted, our health, our ability to travel, our comfort.

Hopefully we'll strive more to help the needy. Please do go to the blog i mention, and see if you can contribute what ever you can :)

The kids are not well

We went to our favorite paed last tuesday, Dr Nik Rose at Pusat Perubatan Az Zahrah, Bangi.

Nadrah got ear infection, muaz having fever on and off.

However, the kids does not look like patients. Nampak cam pg tmn permainan je. hmm..

Well, at least they are active and happy eventhough their body is fighting infections.. so takde la susah hati sgt :)

Nadrah gets a proper hair cut!

Lama betul tak update Blog! :)

Yesterday we went to Jusco Equine to get a proper haircut for Nadrah. Rambut dah panjang, kesian nengoknye.

So we went to this RM15 saloon. You have to pay via vending machine as the worker there cannot accept cash. The funny part is, the vending machine could not give change, meaning, the hair cut price is fixed at RM15, of you put RM 10 + RM 10, you will not get balance RM5. Pelik kan?

While waiting for our turn, 2-3 customers tak jadi nak potong rambut due to takde exact change. Rugi owner saloon nie, loosing revenue over a simple, preventable / correctable process.

Anyway, Nadrah was very matured, in a sense. She just sit there like a big girl while the aunty cuts her hair.

I am still at the hospital now. I have been 4 days in ward. Very booring and tak berapa larat. i hate being sick. :(

i know, i am supposed to take this opportunity to do my thesis, at least a bit, but, betul2 takde mood la. I miss the kids. i miss BFing Nadrah. huhu..

Last Friday we went for a photo shoot for Nadrah. For what??...jeng..jeng.. nanti gue cerita.

Tp masalahnya anak dara gue nie sikit pun tak senyum time photo shoot tu. dia just bulatkan matanya and buat dunno to everybody that's cheering her - for 1 and a half hour!

Well, that's Nadrah for you, she does not simply become friends with a stranger and she does not smile to people whom she's not familiar with. Good girl! but... sometimes can you pls make an exception.. huhu.. sian makcik2 yang cheering you tu, siap lompat2 lagi.. haih..

Anyway, in the midst of that, i really2 forgot to snap a few pictures for my own safekeeping, hopefully they'll give me a copy of the pictures.

p/s: i am yet to update the blog on our journey to KB via train. Nanti la, lots of pictures, but in suheimy's phone.

Akibat balik kampung

Assalamualaikum wbt,

I am still at KB, esok baru balik. I took 3 days annual leave + 2 days public holidays = 7 days @ kampung. Akibatnya berat badan saya naik 2 kilo ye! huhu.

I am blaming it on my mom's dining table which is situated right in the middle of the house. Duk kat dining table boleh tgk TV sambil borak2 dgn seme org, tak kira org tu tgh berada at any part of the house. As a result me and my mother and siblings will always sits there and borak2 plus makan2.

Fyi, my mom's house always have a lot of food supply.  I think if by chance jalan nak keluar kawasan rumah tertutup sbb banjir or apa, my parents need not to worry about food supply up to 2 months kot!

6th Anniversary

Assalamualaikum wbt,

Yesterday was our 6th anniversary. Well, it was different this time, it was on sunday, so we could not go out on a date, i mean just the two of us (kat mana plak nak letak budak2), and to add to it, i got class la plak.

So, in the morning, we just exchange anniversary wish, i gave him my present and a card. And he said " ija pegi la kelas dulu".

I was quite in a rush since my group is the first presenter and the class starts at 8.30 am! so, i did not argue further.

Later that day, he gave me a card and the rest of the day Suheimy do a lot of house chores i.e kemaskan dapur, basuhkan jeans etc. etc... err.. yang, is that my anniversary gift?

Well, the most important thing is we still are madly in love with each other plus now we have additional 4 bundles of joy to our family train.

Thank you for 6 most wonderful years in my life sayang. Looking fwd  for many more years to come! :D

p/s: nanti kita make up anniversary dating ek, jom tgk movie percy jackson lighting theifs tu nak?!

MISERABLE 1st Quarter 2010

Assalamualaikum wbt,

I will be miserable until 16th April 2010. Why? because that's my Thesis submission date for 1st draft.

and to add to this, I just got my periods back, after 10months, welcome back all PMS! now i am moody, cranky, overly sensitive & emo plus i am having pretty bad flu, tonsil and neck pain due to sore throat and infection. Well, look on the bright side, at least i don't have a backache... yet?

Oh, another silver lining is, Suheimy has agreed to do one of my many assignments :D thanks yang, err tapi due date utk submit ke groupmate was yesterday la yang.. camno? huhu... I already told them to extend due date until tomorrow.. boleh ek yang? :D

* hari nie MC sbb period pain + flu but i am in UM very cold library, spreading germs to all... muahaha..

I think i will reward myself with a nice dinner today. Yang, makan luar bleh tak mlm nie? :)

The High Chaparal

Have you ever heard a TV series called "The High Chaparal"? I've never heard of this Tv series until i am married to Suheimy. Apparently he likes this movie so much that he claims perhaps his attitude, his "COOL" attitude may have been influenced by one of the character, apparently his favorite character from the series.

KL yang JAM!

Assalamualaikum wbt,

Don't you guys feel fed-up with the horrific jam conditions in KL? I do! huhu..

Pagi2 aku akan tensen jam + takut tak sempat punch card. That's why i can't wait to move to BK2, jimat 20 minutes (at least) driving time pg office.

Maknanya sempat la kalau keluar rumah pukul 8 since my office hour starts @ 9am hehe..

But, when we do move, i think we will miss our current lawn the most. The kids have so much fun playing in the lawn. Tu belum Nadrah boleh jln lagi, nanti bile dia dah jalan mesti lagi meriah.

Nadrah 1st word!

Well, it's official, Nadrah first word is "ABBAH". I even waited 2 weeks before making it official, hoping that her first word would change to mama.. huhu..

I think she calls me "nggeehh" coz when she wants susu and cries she will repeatedly says "nggeehh, nggehh".

At long last, on the 8th day Muhammad Muaz does not cry when i left him at the taska today! Yahuu!! :)

This weekend we are going to ToysrUs or Toy city to buy him a big car - upah sbb baik sgt! :) .. parents making up to their children with toys / luxury items; to compensate for not being there for them.. huhu..

Hopefully cepat la aku dpt keje yang boleh balik kol 3pm or only works 3-4 days/ week! mana tu ek? any suggestion?!

Bad Morning!

Assalamualaikum wbt,

I had a bad morning. Jam teruk gile dr NPE until depan TM, I can't even get into ques. Then, I drove straight to Vista, park my car, angkut all the bags (handbag, Pump bag, Muaz's taska bag), and dukung Muaz cross the heavy traffic road to LRT Vista, and the LRT lift was out of service, thus I carry my 13kg son naik tangga, tunggu tren, luckily somebody give us his seat.

At plaza pantai, Muaz would stop every 3-4 steps "Mama, tu apa tu?" hhuhu.. and i am running late, it is already 9.15 am hence i carry him all the way naik bukit ke lobi TM.

huhu.. penat!

I end up punched card @ 9.27am. I hate coming late to office *sigh*.

Muaz @ taska TM

Assalamualaikum wbt,

Today is Muaz 1st day going to Taska TM. Usually when we sent the kids off at bbsitter, the bbsitter's house is quite and calm, coz her kids are still sleeping, so Muaz would go to his toys and play by himself.

But this morning, when we arrive at the Taska, the kids are dancing to a "Good Morning" video. Muaz immediately clench to me and he was very quiet, holding back tears. I think he's a bit culture shock :)

Anyway, i went to the Taska just now and the teacher said after lunch he's ok already. He starts asking the regular "apa ni, apa tu" which to me is a sign of trust and enjoyment.

Well, Alhamdulillah all went well. Me and Suheimy both Solat Hajat for our boy last night, minta dipermudahkan Muaz handling taska and vice versa :)

I did shed some tears last night... "Kalau muaz merajuk nanti, aeimy rase cikgu dia pujuk tak?.." .. sedih la, Muaz maybe looks tough but he has a soft heart :)

and if you guys know what I, We have been through to get a child, to get Muaz, you would understand my emo and overprotective reaction..huhu..

Oklah, today i'm going back sharp 6:00 PM!

I was feeling a bit down today. Luckily, a friend of mine, Mas sent me this email.

Sedang seorang murid termenung dengan mukanya yang muram, di sapa oleh gurunya. “mengapa muka mu muram wahai anak ku? Tidak cukupkah nikmat dimuka bumi Allah ini untuk kau mensyukurinya”. “sejak akhir-akhir ini, aku banyak di timpa dengan masalah, guru ku. Itu yang menyebabkan aku muram”.


“kamu pergi ambil dua genggam garam dan segelas air” kata gurunya. Lantas muridnya pun mengambil barang yang disuruh oleh gurunya dengan penuh kehairanan. “sekarang kamu campur segenggam garam ke gelas yang berisi dengan air dan kamu dikehendaki untuk meminumnya”. Kata gurunya lagi. Si anak murid pun buat apa yang disuruh oleh guru. Setelah ia meminumnya, anak muridnya pun memuntahkan semula.

Guru itu pun berkata kepada anak muridnya,”bagaimana rasanya, anakku?”. “Rasanya seperti amat masin guru ku,tekak ku terasa loya dan mual sekali” jawab anak muridnya. “sekarang ambil segenggam garam lagi, masukkan ia ke dalam tasik dan minumlah, apa rasanya?” kata gurunya lagi. Setelah meminumnya anak murid pun berkata,” terasa segar guruku dan sedap sekali”.

“begitulah dengan hidup kita, segenggam garam itu ibarat dugaan yang diberikan oleh Allah kepada hambaNya. Ianya telah ditetapkan oleh oleh Allah. Tidak lebih atau kurang dan dugaan yang diberikan oleh Allah mampu diharungi oleh umatNya. Segelas cawan dan tasik tersebut adalah bandingan luasnya hati kita. Jika hati kita seluas segelas cawan tersebut, maka kita akan merasai ia sebagai penderitaan tetapi jika hati kita seluas tasik atau lebih besar daripadanya, kita akan merasainya sebagai kemanisan hidup. Oleh itu, bentuklah hati kita seluas tasik agar kita tabah menghadapi mehnah dan tribulasi dalam kehidupan kita”, jelas gurunya.

My own interpretation of the story is, dugaan yang datang cuma sebyk segenggam garam, nak dibandingkan dgn nikmat yang Allah beri seluas tasik. and I quote kata2 suheimy... "insignificant" thus tak yah la susah hati. Hehe... that's way my hubby is always cool, ye tak yang? :)

New Moon

MESS!!

My house is a MESS! huhu... penat la. We have been taking care of the kids for the past 8 days, not that we do not enjoy taking care of the kids...we love being around them, but i tell you, it is VERY tiring! this is due to anak bbsitter kena chicken pox + then kitaorg sekeluarga sakit mata.. yes, including Nadrah pun kena sakit mata.

Huhu, my house will be able to sustain its messiless states for about.... 3 mins kot. Muaz is a very active toddler. Well, better active than pasive right? Sabo je la.

Chicken Pox

My bbsitter's son got chicken pox - courtesy of Ain, the only other toddler yang bbsitter i jaga.

Sudahnye we need to extend our cuti raya. Yesterday i was on leave. Today suheimy. Tomorrow?? alahai, cuti aku dah la tinggal 5 hari je lagik! huhu..

anyway, according to wikipedia - from 1- 10 days, the infected person is still contagious, maknanya, sampai weken nie la.. huhu..

Assalamualaikum,

I kena marah dgn supervisor lecturer last monday. Reason: kenapa baru sekarang you contact i?

dah la aku tukar topic lain dari what was previously proposed.

So, I was wrong. I told her i was wrong. Dah la. Tak yah la bebel panjang2 plak.

But, to bersangka baik... i;ve made a conclusion i've cought her on a bad day ... maybe dia tgh PMS kot.

Anyway, sekarang i don't have a supervisor, and i am not sure whether they are going to approve the new topic change.

Wish me luck guys. I need to finish this master by mid of next year, and convo on Aug 2010.
